Gendon has developed a new polypropylene based insulation compound for category cable. This new compound exhibits additional reductions in smoke generation and maintains excellent dielectric properties.

The compound is designed to replace one or more FEP coated pairs in the cable contrustion and reduce the overall smoke generation and cost of the cable, without impacting the flame and electrical performance.
