Overview

Industry cannot run without power – and much of that power is supplied by electricity. This power is supplied through a series of cables, typically installed in cable trays throughout an industrial facility. The cables installed in these trays must be specifically designed for resistance to mechanical, chemical, and physical damage that may occur in an industrial environment. Flame properties – including resistance to flame spread and generation of toxic gases – are also important properties that cables in this application must meet. Gendon manufactures a full range of Halogenated and Halogen Free Cable Sheathing and Primary insulation materials designed for these applications. These materials are designed to exceed the requirements of UL1277 and CSA 22.2 No 230 for Tray Cable, and can be custom designed for your specific application.
